Grant McVay — owner
Grant McVay owns Grants Heating & Air. He started in the trade in 1995 and has spent more than 30 years on the equipment — not in a sales office. The company has carried his name since 2014.
He holds six NATE certifications, including Master Mechanical, and is licensed for residential and commercial work. High-efficiency heat pumps, the jobs that take real troubleshooting, and telling you whether a repair is enough — that's the work. Long-term solutions. Not a scare into a new system.
We get to know the house and the people in it. Thorough evaluation before anyone puts numbers on paper. We don't cut corners on safety to save a dollar, and we don't get paid to upsell work you don't need. Mark and Leslie Blaul said it: the techs are there to do the job correctly, whatever the obstacle.
In September 2026 we open the doors at 800 Stockton Ave #3 in Fort Collins — a real shop in the middle of our service area, not a P.O. box. Until then we still answer the phone and still roll trucks.
The office gets you scheduled. The crew shows up on time, leaves a written report when it matters, and will make the extra trip — David and Karen Young will tell you that.
